Bird watching in Murska šuma

Murska šuma, which is a lowland floodplain forest, is one of the most important ornithological areas in Slovenia. Over 110 species of birds nest here. The site is included in the network of Natura 2000 sites. The black stork, the sand martin, the middle spotted woodpecker and the collared flycatcher are just some of the birds that can be found here.
